Does the Ohio "11 day" period include Provisional Ballots?
I think they can validate those immediately, and count them when approved. That isn't a "recount".
But what do I know?

No ... by law, the provisional ballots in Ohio cannot begin to be counted until 10 days after the election.

Additionally, absentee ballots from members of the military have until days after the election to be received ... they have no idea how many such ballots will come in.

Makes no never mind. There are not enough provisional ballots for sKerry to seriously have a chance.

Of the ballots, some number will be thrown out because the voter was inelligible. What remains sKerry would have to win no less than 85%. sKerry did not pull anywhere close to 85% in the best counties in Ohio.

Bush still wins!!

Rick, since it is clear that Bush has won the popular vote, wouldn't it be stealing the election if Kerry squeaked out a win in Ohio?

Ohio only has an automatic recount if the votes are within .25% of each other, they are not...Pres. Bush gets Ohio and a nice mandate...it IS over now. In fact I just saw a fat lady fall over after singing her heart out.
