Just got back from a local retailer where I found a bundle of 25 Dominican made 5 Vegas robustos for $20. Never saw this brand in bundles or from DR before.

Anybody ever seen/smoked these before? Did I just get a deal or a doorstop?

Yeah, I guess I'll have to smoke one to find out... I just hate the thought of ruining a perfectly good doorstop.

5 Vegas are (or at least were) from Nicaragua. I received a dominican bundle from another retailer about 18 months ago. When I inquired about the authenticity, they asked me to send them back. I did, only to learn that they no longer had the size I wanted to replace them. I ended up getting a fair replacement deal from the company, but it was very suspicious.

OhmyGod, now they are making fakes of cheaper cigars! Whatever, will we do???? Charlie
