Hank, I know it's been a long time but as promised here is a pic.

Background: Hank asked if I need a humidor for my mancave like over a year ago, the only thing he asked is that I fill it with something I like and post a pic. I've been really lazy the past year, and just finally got to it. So, here it is, one of my top five smoke sitting in there.

Sorry for the picture quality, it's my cell phone.

Wow.....

That's not a great quality pic....but it's still so damn pretty!

That's what I'd call making good use of a humi Roland....I'm sure Hank will be proud.

Yeah, I like the power rangers. It is one of my top five cigar of all time. I try to find time to smoke one of them every week or so. As for the samplers, I got a few other smokes in a different humi for me to smoke when I am not in the mood for the xXx.

Like that BBMF maddie in your avator? Someday I'm gonna get my hands on one of those bad boys.

The BBMF isn't really as good as you think. It's a good cigar, but it definately not worth the coin that they are asking for. IMHO, I would rather take a power ranger over the BBMF. Oh the pic of the avator was taken at MMM herf last year, where gonesledn and I were both smoking a BBMF.

Thanks for the info Roland, I guess I've just wanted to try an Opus with a maduro wrapper....I'll go with some power rangers instead.

What the difference between an Anejo and an Opus with a maduro wrapper? I thought they were the same thing.

It’s all of those rich guys taunting us. Money means nothing to them. They read the threads here and laugh. It is sick. They light their cigars with $100 bills.

Euodias, I think the wrapper for Anejo are put in barrels or soaked in something rather than being a straight maduro wrapper. Roland? TG?

The Anejo wrappers are allegedly aged in old cognac barrels for, I believe, 6 months. I don't know how often, if ever, the barrels are changed out, or how fast the cognac smell fades from the oak under the circumstances/conditions which they are being used, so the actual strength of infusion is unknown.

I'm not sure if the Opus X maduro wrapper is an Anejo wrapper, an untreated Anejo wrapper, a leaf from a different priming on the same plants as those that are grown to provide the Anejo wrappers, or a different wrapper entirely.
