I heard his speech on this...His point is valid..A Right is something not granted by any gov't and cannot be taken away by any man. Therefore Healthcare is not a right. His use of the "slavery" term could've been better said...Most Libs and other ill informed people are not sophisticated enough to understand his meaning,,

Not granted by any government? Like what exactly? We in the US believe that the the rights outlined in the Bill of Rights are ours, yet they could and have been taken away, or never given at all, by governments all the time throughout history. So please explain.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? That's all? And define happiness.According to the Consitution, we also have the right of Habeas Corpus, the right to elect representatives, the Bill of Rights gave us the first 10 amendments and influenced most of the rest. All of these are given by the government, and can be taken away, and in the case of Habeas Corpus have been.I know it's kinda neat to say the 'creator' gave those rights to us, but if he's 'forever' it sure took a long time to get those damn 'rights' now didn't it?
ok,Here's the dirty litle secret...Since we produce little as a national economy we rely on every person spending every cent they have. So,if a family of four makimg a combined income of $45k had to spend $6k ayear on health care. Then they could'nt run up credit card debt at Best Buy for the 52 inch big screen while other's subsidized their health care.Hence, hurting the economy. So,I'm expected to supplement .It's destined to fail...'
It was called the "Age of enlightenment"get it ?
That would help......Catastrophic insurance and direct payment to physicians would be great.Too many over utilize and too many are taken advantage of by insurance. Eliminate the middle man.Or at least have the patient pay then submit claim to insurance the way it was meant to be.

Close but no.Govt F's just about everything up and this much money in there hands is no bueno.Leave the money with the people. If any govt. involvement I say tax deferred HSA's to make it even cheaper for the people. When folks have to see the cost they will actually be concerned about cost. When Dr's don't have to hasle with insurance companies prices will drop.I know freedom is scary.
YES! Eliminate the middle man!You are correct!Medicare (like program) for ALL! I'm so happy you see it my way. We all pay into one huge pot, making the pot and buying power HUGE. No profit is required making more than 30% off the top free for actual care. The size of the group makes the buying power and negotiation on prices power super huge, and medical care providers won't have to fight like mad to get paid from insurance companies!Z, we are on the same wavelength for the first time ever!
