Last night, because I was watching the basketball game, I got a little out of sync with my usual routine and was quite amused to realize who noticed it first ... M-F, when I get home from work, I fix dinner right away, then in cleaning up, push the scraps into the dog bowl ... I add the dog food, moisten it a bit, then while the dog eats, I get a cigar from my humidor and light it while she eats ... the dog then takes me on a walk while I smoke the cigar ... last night I lit up without feeding her, then stood outside the patio door, watching the last of the game, fed the dog as it ended before going on our walk ... I realized the dog had been quite confused by her lack of food while I lit up and I got thinking about the very fixed nature of my routine ... day to day, it is almost exactly the same plus on weekends, I add a morning cigar while reading the paper and often add one as I watch my son's ballgame (he's on a team in an adult men's league that plays on college fields in the area) ... are the rest of you in pretty fixed patterns as well, or are some of you more random in your smoking? And, if you're like me, why do you suppose we are so ritualistic ??

i usually like to smoke one immediately after dinner, but in the summer i have to put it off till it cools off a little, since i can't smoke indoors.sometimes i smoke more than one a day if there's a party or something like that...

Morning, noon and night!!! No seriously, when the mood hits me, since I am not "allowed" to smoke in house.........living in Sou Cal we can smoke outdoors pretty much year round! So I probably smoke a minimum of one per day and on weekends 3 per day!

I used to have one only with friends and co-workers on special occasions or buy some to pass out during the holidays. I almost always have one in the summertime while vacationing in the San Juan Islands in Washington State. I must confess, after winning a few 5 packs here in cigarbid, that I've had to have a taste while home alone after mowing the lawn.

I usually go outside after helping get the kids to bed around 9pm. Over the last year, the dog now knows the routine and waits for me. Living in AZ, it's damn hot, so late at night when I can just relax is better. Winters are nice as it never gets below 40 most of the time. Or if company is over and someone cares to smoke, then I don't have to wait until the kids go to bed. There are only a few bars in the area that allow cigars and I don't frequent those unless it's a boys-nite-out event.

I get one in the last 1/2 hour of work and finish it on the way home. Sometimes an after dinner smoke while hanging here. Two or Three a day on the weekends. Barry

Two at night. More on the weekends if I can get the time. Trips down to Texas? 5 to 6 one way.

Only in the shower... but the damn thing keeps going out... does anybody have any ideas??

At Night, cept on the weekends, while on the the PC, in my smoking room. Or on the front porch.

Always on the way home from work. Lately on the way to work in the morning to keep me awake (new baby in the house). Any other times are unplanned.

usually in the morning on the way to work, usually after lunch, sometimes on the drive home and also after dinner. i work outside so i can really smoke myself silly if i want to! mwahahahaha!

Usually at home on the balcony right after work, on sunday after church, and on saturday at poker night.

I can't wait to see what X has to say here, heheh! I only smoke when I don't get my way...only thing is, it comes out my arse! My head usually spins around at the same time...a sight to see! You had to know that was coming!
