Mean...
I did not say HE was narrowminded... I said what he said is TYPICAL of the narrowminded. It is great that he tried them, even tried them twice, and I am sorry that he didn't like what he tried. BUT the Acid line alone has a variety of smokes and he is dismissing the WHOLE COMPANY on his experiance with perhaps a couple of one particular line. As I stated in my post they have lines that are less aeromatic and some that are not aeromatic at all. So you are going to dismiss Industrial Press because you didn't like Acid? Sounds narrowminded to me.

Pavlovian response. I imagine a repeated disfavorable experience from one manufacturer would cause fear toward trying the others. I am an advocate of the industrial press. Had a brickk two nights ago. Can I still call you a communist?

Sorry for the double... There is a HUGE diffrence between "Flavored" (Vanilla, Rum, etc.) and "Aeromatic" (Acid, Ambrosia, Naturals, Lars Tetons). Actually I don't find flavored cigars THAT bad (I KNOW I will hear it now), I also don't find them that great. The most notable thing is the flavor left on your lips after drawing from them. There are many among the Acid line that I don't enjoy, many I do. The couple Lars Tetons I smoked, I didn't like at all. That doesn't mean I will label them all crap. If someone offered me one, I would give them another chance. But again, To quote the bard "You gotta keep 'em seperated!" I don't mix my Aeromatics, My Flavored, my "Regulars" and My "Cubans" (although the last rule gets laxed as I run out of Cubans).

Comunist? Well I hope not, they'd kick me out of the Army! (Actually I don't think they can for that any more, but they would probably yank my sceurity clearance.)

The Natural Root is a very nice cigar to have along when you go to a semi-cigar friendly cocktail lounge. You all probably know the line, "Sir, as a management policy we do not prohibit the smoking of cigars in our establishment, however, if there is a complaint about the strong aroma, we'll have to ask you to put it out." The Root has a pleasant taste that even the most traditional cigar smokers will probably find acceptable and it has an aroma like a nice aromatic pipe tobacco. I've found the Green Hero to have an acceptable aroma, but virtually tasteless. Next to the Root, the Elixir 5-50 would be my second choice in the Natural line. I was gifted one of the assortment tins, and found it to be a good introduction into this line of cigars. I was in on a box split of the Industrial Press, and found them very disappointing for the relatively high price of these cigars.
