i have not been able to find out what congressional district he represented, and the number of votes for and against his election in any of his runs for election.

My sentiments exactly ... scalawags can not only be found with ease in both (all?) political parties, they absolutely ABOUND ... one is hard-pressed to find the non-scalawags ...

Not that this excuses the behavior of any of them ... we can and should expect more from our public officials ...

Lots of luck, try and get rid of Babs Boxer in our State.

Sad to say, there are those on both sides of the aisle and while we have one Senator who does in fact work for the betterment of the State and Country (Diane Fienstein) we are stuck with Boxer who is not only incompetent, she wrote all kinds of bad checks in 1992-93! This is the stalwart who is questioning Rice for integrity!

I despise Barbara Boxer. Her performances at these hearings are infantile. She's just vieing for national attention.
I was pointing out that many of our elected officials whom have sworn to uphold the laws break them routinely. Thereby supporting my earlier point that there are few pols that aren't scalawags.
