.....This is what I have gotten out of some of the smokes I have sent, or will send to Jim.

.....PUEBLO DOMINICANO TORO (6.5" x 50) = UNDERCROWN ROBUSTO (5" x 54) The PUEBLO has a bit less flavor. A flavor that is VERY Similar.

.....PERDOMO CUBAN BULLET CHURCHILL (7" x 50) = CAMACHO 1962 PRE-EMBARGO TORO (6" x 48) Could not tell the difference. Actually liked the CUBAN BULLET better.

.....LA CUNA HABANO BIN.85 SALOMON (7.1" x 58) has a nice Habano wrapper and is a smooth, creamy medium smoke. Other BIN.85 sizes like this Churchill, have a Connecticut wrapper, and are a completely different cigar and not worth a 2nd smoking.

.....the current batch of GURKHA DOBLE MADURO falls way short of older DOBLE sticks I smoked from my GURKHA Cigarniavore in the spring.

.....read that due to lack of sales PADILLA 1948 and SERIE '68 are, or will be discontinued to make room for new blends according to Padilla. Don't see 1948 offered here much anymore. Love SERIE '68.

.....CARLOS TORANO LOYAL & GURKHA FUERTE are not to good.

.....ROCKY PATEL CARGO is not good at all.

.....PINAR DEL RIO RESERVA LIMITADA & MAN O WAR RUINATION are very good.

.....SIGLO LIMITED RESERVE ain't nothing special either.

.....PUEBLO DOMINICANO, MAN O WAR RUINATION, CAMACHO TRIPLE MADURO, 5 VEGAS CLASSIC, & LA HERENCIA CUBANA age very well.

.....won The Horn O’ Plenty Super-Premium Sampler last month.
5 - 5 Vegas Relic Perfecto (5.75" x 54)
5 - La Gloria Cubana Wavell (5" x 50)
5 - Fonseca Serie ’F’ Robusto (5" x 52)
5 - Rocky Patel Puro Cubano Robusto (5.5" x 50),

.....and I got it today. Full of very yellow cello smokes. Nice surprise. Some fine tasting, aged cigars. The FONSECA SERIE 'F' fuerte was very good. Perfect burn and draw with nice mildly spiced, natural tobacco flavor.

.....I have yet to smoke my 6x54 tubos. Sent Jim my 5x54. I thought this cigar would offer more then it did. Basically just a low medium good, but average, 2 or $3 cigar, no more.

......I can admit I stand corrected on this to a degree. Smoked my 6x54 SIGLO Cedar wrapped tubos last night. Enjoyed it much more then the SIGLOS out of the cello that I have smoked. Solo aging in cedar may have added a bit to the stick. Still would not buy again for the $7 MSRP.

......not so shocking really. The question you really want to ask is, "Does ANYONE have an Anejo they are WILLING to sacrifice, and go without, for the sake of a fellow BOTL enjoyment."

.....In my case, I had two on hand, and had no 2nd thoughts about sending one to Jim after hearing his 'shocking' story about the only one he every tried to smoke being plugged with a horrible draw. After smoking about a half dozen over the past year I concluded he got the only bad FUENTE ANEJO in existence.

It was a real surprise to receive an Anejo to try again, but Rich sends me cigars to try every month. Doesn't ask for anything in return, just to hear my opinion what I thought of the cigar when I send him an email. Now if that's not a true friend and BOTL, I don't know who is.

......have just enough PADILLA CAZADORES, PUEBLO DOMINICANO, SAN MIGUEL, PINAR DEL RIO RESERVA, CUBA LIBRE ONE, and K.F. BIG RICHARD on hand to last until the 25th when I get my next Government hand out. Plus Jim sent me a nice 15 lot I got today that included a D.P.G. SERIE JJ MADURO, ASHTON VSG CORONA, GURKHA LEGEND VINTAGE, & EP CARRILLO to name a few. very nice
