Yaaaaawn. I live for FOOTBALL and usually console myself after the superbowl with a little bit of hockey, but all other sports pale in comparison, in my opinion.

But I am DAMN HAPPY that the RED SOX finally won a WORLD SERIES!

But compared to Football... all other sports suck.

Yeah, but if you wait for those guys, I'll beat you to the ballpark, Charlie ... gonna take in my first game of the new year a week from Sat (day before the Super Bowl) ...

(I'll be heading over to Santa Clara University to watch their team take on my Alma Mater)

Charlie: Can't wait. I'm loving some of the transactions going on this year, although it seems a lot of the guys I like to watch are moving from the AL to the NL, a league I don't follow too much.

Football's good, MACS ... it fills the space between seasons quite nicely ... pop on up to the Bay Area next week and go to the game with me ... we'll sit away from the other folks and smoke one or two and you'll quickly see why there's no better way to spend a weekend afternoon than by going to a ballgame ...

Agree with SteveS, football is a great filler for MLB! And as far as college goes, we have some great teams here in California! CSF defending NCAA champs!

I've gotta go with MACS on this one--with the only other exception being boxing.

I am with Blood an Mac. Baseball players cry too much that their **** hurts.

Probably like last year I'll forego attending any games. Well maybe I'll hit a minor league game with the kid's ball team. Yes, I do watch my kids play. I smoke a cigar and keep score.

I love Football, (especially college) same with Basketball and good boxing matches And let's not forget Nascar. Baseball is ok once the playoffs start but i think it's more of a players game. But to really get my blood boiling Ther ain't nothin like layin a couple a quid on a a Horserace!!
