Meh...........Not sure if you should be mad or not. It is upsetting to buy something and have it be damaged. Then accept restitution instead of replacement and have something completely different show up. I would be irked unless the replacement items were well worth it. Can you call customer service and tell them to take the Humi and gars back since they can't send one thing to you correctly?? Another reason I only buy gars and small accessories online. I don't do big things like humis online. I like my rubber-dors & cooler-dors. I'll save a big humi for another day when the funds are so plentiful I choose a humi over more cigars because I have so many. probably never happen.

Numi - did you say you don't really smoke cigars that often?

That tubo is suppose to be infused with Louis XIII Cognac. Last time I ran across that stuff it was $2,000 a bottle. Back when I was a noob, and didn't know any better, I won a 5ver of those tubos (maddie wrapper instead of the connie they sent you) for $35. I will say that they where tasty smokes. Would never spend that kind on money on them today, though.

Ha, just looked up the price at CI. They want over $11 for that tubo, and I know I have seen them at B&Ms for over $15.

Actually I think I came out ok, price was great for 125 ct desktop, just won't deal with them again, and looks like I may come out good with a reverse mooch from Jamie, hehe
Haven't smoked since surgery mid Dec., was just starting back pre-surgery, after 10 years off from tobacco.

Especially now I see that tubos. Years back I would get rum soaked crooks, they were probably machine mades. Sounds like this may taste even better, been looking at some Oliveros tubos as well

ACDF ....Anterior Cervical Disc Fusion, new solid disc, titanium strap, some titanium screws to hold it. I went in needing L-4/L5 fused, he pointed out the cervical pair of discs looked like balloons bulged out, one popped, mentions risk of paralysis. My comment, how quick can you do the neck! Two months later still lots of pain in upper back, neck, shoulders. PT helping some but I get around ok, that's me and the Grandkids in the avatar. Tonight's first night both were in my lap since before surgery, pretty close to heaven.

Damn bro! Sounds horrible, but glad to see recovery coming along, even if it's slow. When will you get to start herfing again?

Lancaster's quote

Beats the alternative, I am about to go nuts stuck around the house, though, I'm sure it shows, I may try to come over to the event in Collierville, just won't smoke. Maybe in about another month or so, I will be cleared to do most things, I will ask the surgeon if an occasional cigar will be ok. Don't feel like being trapped again like this for awhile, but I have to get that other surgical fusion, just stuck here waiting for SSD hearing, haven't been able to work in over a year and a half. I've been in moderate to severe pain for 6-7 years now.

Out of curiosity, I snagged 3 each of the rum, cognac and bourbon for a buck a stick. Tried one of each, and they where meh. The way they are infused is by soaking a foam sponge in booze and placing it against the foot in the bottom of the tube. I don't think the full infusion has taken it's course yet on the ones I have, and will give them 6 months or so before trying again. If they don't improve, I won't be wasting even a buck on these again. The Gurkha tubos where far better.

Thanks for the info DP, I like strong bourbon, so would want a rich flavor throughout the smoke, I remember those old crooks and they had a dark wrapper, so sweet, but had that rum burn/ bite and flavor throughout.
