My thanks and correspondence with Lancaster(mighty fine botl)

Paul Stulac just smoked it, pretty good stick. i bet with some age itll come around even better. i gifted the other to sd72. when he gets back from his cruise, ill have him PM u with his thoughts on the cigar.

Mine burnt well, had to touch it up once, but burnt nicely. Nice amount to smoke and a good ash to it. i got some deep tobacco/woods flavor, sorta like a whiskey dark. Mild to me but a good stick though. Seem'd to have a nutty citrus to also.

thanks for the smoke.

Whats up Lancaster and Paul,

I smoked the Ghost this past weekend with Mo(joker) and Ben(stingray). The stick was a little larger than my average pull but not to big or bulky. I noticed the smell was mild and not to much to read into.

Quick question for Paul, What was going on with the band? It felt like construction paper with a nice emblem? I know this doesn't affect the smoke in any other way than the Aesthetic value but it seemed off.

Upon lighting the stick I did not recieve any pepper or spice notes but the draw and burn were very consistant.

The aroma was very one note and was the smoke throughout. I did not pick up on any sub notes anywhere in the stick. I was drinking water only so that may have had something to do with it.

After the smoke had ended it had taken about and hour and a half to fully burn. The flavor was straight forward and was medium to medium/full. I did feel a little nicotine tickle in the back of my mouth after it was said and done.

I have one more of these and will let it age before trying it. I really hope that age will bring out some complexity and depth in this stick.

Thanks again for sharing the Scott and Paul, I look forward to the future offerings.

P.S. Paul do you have a corona/lancero made or in the works? What is the dominant tobacco you have been using?

I smoked one yesterday. This one had just a little rest with cello on. I found very little to complain about the construction- it burned straight and had a great draw all the way through. The smoke wasn't creamy necessarily but had good weight to it. The retro was a little harsh at first but calmed down later in the stick. The only thing I could taste through the whole thing was leather. If there were other notes, the leather drowned them out. I was actually kind of disappointed as I really enjoyed the Angel and had high hopes for the Ghost. As walker stated above, I'm going to cello off the other one and store it a bit to see if it changes. Thanks for sharing- i'll be seeking out some of the other vitolas to see how they compare.

While herfing with Joker yesterday, I smoked my second and last Ghost. This one, I took out of the cello again and let it rest on my top shelf for three weeks naked to dry out a bit but to age as well. When I clipped the cap, I did notice that a few pieces of the tabacco were still green. I'm not sure if this was just due to the natural lights playing tricks on my eyes or if the tobacco was just not 100% completely aged. ( but did not affect the flavor any )
The burn and draw were perfect! No touch ups were needed.
While I agree with Xavier and Jokers reviews, leather, cedar and a creamy nutty flavor were the main character of the stick. Not much transition this time and not near the spice as the first and as the angel. With my desired profile of a cigar, I still very much enjoyed it! Med body. Put off allot of smoke and never once acted as if it wanted to go out on me. With some age, 6 months to a year, these will be a fantastic smoke. There is a giant difference in letting these rest out of the cello vs leaving them in.
I'm officially out of these, the last of my sticks go out today. I'll be scouting out more of these myself and would like to try more of the other sizes to continue to compare flavor profiles. These two cigars, angel and ghost could easily be in my weekly rotation.
Thanks again Paul! Your a very generous BOTL and good friend. I'm humbled to have had this experience to work with you and to share your creation with my fellow brothers.

I'm eager to try the Cross, Phantom and Vampire when avialable.

So I suppose this is where we talk about these cigars ? Went to a local to pick a few things up and they had the ghost and phantom sitting on the shelf so bought one, sat down and lit it up. What a freaking waste of time and scratch ! Thought I was smoking a re-banded Puros Indios, wiff, pure airball. Burned awful, pitched it halfway. Owner laughed and said sorry gave me Montecristo New York for my troubles. Now for a MC that is a good cigar. Nice to have a good relationship with your local tobacconist.

Guess I should have known, damn canadians!

Good or bad, Paul did want honest feedback. But thanks for being a Mature, Respectful adult referring to your clever Canadian crack. Excellent job representing your board with integrity and honor. Instead of stating you didn't like or thought it was a waist of your money or time. Maybe that's just how I was raised, to respect others.

Don't get your panties in a wad. Just telling what I thought of it truthfully, it was garbage, how's that ? Honest enough for ya ? If it's to harsh then don't pose the question for anyone to answer. You don't want to go there with me and canadians, deal with them everyday. Always trying to get over on someone, 97% are arrogant POS.
Take your little lecture and put it in a dark and unsanitary place. Personally I don't give a rats azz how you were raised, don't know you but if your trying to say something about my upbringing you won't want to know me.
Integrity and honor ? PLEASE! This from a guy who came here begging for someones dried up unused cigars to give to his buddies, who were they really for champ ? Integrity, honor ? LMMFAO!!!

I have no problem with a bad review, there are several brands and cigars i hate and would bash in a heartbeat, just not the owner or his hometown country was what i was referring to. We can slap each other around and not take it personal but it's a different story knowing Paul is following this thread and your insulting him and his homeland / culture just through typical stereotyping. That's my point. He's been nothing but a true friend to me and an honest business man wanting to creare the best cigar he possible can. Your feedback can be useful to help him correct any quality issues he may have. I wasn't trying to take a cheap shot at you, but thanks for the one in return. I'm sorry that your experience was poor but at least your shpo owner was able to help you out with that. Thank you for sharing your experience

You should know by now that I'm only screwing with you.

I don't want any.

I want LP's or Anejo's.

That should be much easier for you.
