My local will prob never carry them, last time I asked about something they don't carry , they said they don't want to carry anymore stock, just sell what they have cause it cost to much to keep stock of different cigars.

People need to sample things to see if its for them or not. My theory behind this product was that "taste is VERY subjective...some people like strong and some like mild etc HOWEVER all cigars should smoke like cigars. Explosions, bad draw and uneven burns are UNACCEPTABLE as we all work too hard for our money to purchase a product that doesn't at least perform the duty it is supposed to perform which in this case is to smoke well and provide an escape that we all need from time to time. This being said  we are dealing with a hand made product so it does happen once in a while. Again all cigars should smoke like a cigar"

When you buy an ice cream it has to be edible...the flavour you choose is up to the individual. When we buy a Motley Crue CD it has to be playable in the CD player whether we like the songs is irrelevant.

my intentions are not to promote buying the cigar but merely to try it and get word of mouth out there. Ads are expensive and may or may not work. Allowing people to sample a product without spending hard earned dollars is promotion I believe in.

I bought a few from a retailer, and was sent some by Paul as well, It was a very enjoyable smoke. I think I even gifted a couple to someone don't remember who though. The ones Paul sent me are Maduros, have not smoked one yet was letting them rest a little. Maybe they have rested long enough

I had my first PS Ghost last night. Thanks Lancaster for sharing. Here are my notes...I have never done a real review before so here is a shot at it.

First thing I noticed on the cigar was that it had a dark nice looking rapper with only one major vein visible, it is a beautiful cigar. Smelling the cigar took me back to a farm I owned years ago and had me remembering the large fields of grass and hay. Very much an outside farm smell, which I liked. The cap cut off clean with no problems at all, and the pre-light draw seamed great.

Upon initially lighting the I noticed that it puts out a lot of smoke, another thing I personally like. The first few puffs pretty much give an idea of what the first third of the cigar had to offer. To me it was a medium white pepper that coated the entire mouth and down into the throat, not harsh or really spicy, but prevalent. The pepper was combined with a tobacco and leather flavor, which was good, but not my favorite flavor.

The second third of the cigar the flavor profile changed to a much more nutty / coco flavor with a little bit of sweetness and an occasional taste of pepper popping up. It kept me guessing and honestly trying to figure out what I was tasting. This profile continued though the second and into the last third of the cigar but in the last third the pepper kicked back up a little more and the coco was a little less.

Over all I think this is a very enjoyable smoke. Enough complexity to keep you guessing, and a nice even burn pretty much the whole time. On average the ash was holding about an inch and there was only a short section between the first and second third that the ash got a little flaky due to a vein. Tonight I am actually sitting here with my taste buds begging for another. I think though that I am going to let the others rest a bit and see how they fare. I would be willing to bet that this is a stick that will just get better with age.

I will be getting some more of these and will be looking to try the other lines that Paul has to offer. Happy Herfin...
