Never ready Phil's book.

Phil's book on low limit poker is one of the better one's I've read. Really helps getting a feel for how people play based on personality types.

Also was a decent read. Unlike some of the others that are dry and a bunch of hands being analyzed. Don't know much about Hansen's book, but his play while effective also goes into the rest of his life where he is reckless and a gambler.

Hmmm, getting an idea here though. Phil's book, rounders dvd,. . .

Scarne's guide to modern poker is an old book by John Scarne. It's only touches on strategy for basic poker games. More on overall poner strategy, odds and some great stories of John playing the game in the old days. Great read and great rules to follow. I have had it since I was a teen and red it many times. Check it out.
