Ya wouldnt think that a couple of cans of DP would be worth a BOX of Cohiba's would you? muhren thinks it is. Mike was ISO of some real Dr Pepper and beings that I live in the "Home of Dr Pepper" I stopped by the museum and picked up a couple for him and in return he sent a whole box of XV749's.

I think I owe you another shipment, what you think?

Ting is a very delicious drink found in parts of the caribbean. It's sort of a carbonated grapefruit/lime flavor. Bottled like any other soda. And yes, I will be at the Herf.

I must report back my findings on these new TDP (Temple Dr. Pepper)...

Sadly...NOT the same! VERY close, but alas, not the same.

Available, but just not the same. The have that initial sweet punch as DDP, but they have a diff. aftertaste in the mouth. Close...but no cigar.

Don't get me wrong, I'd still drink the heck out of these, but I just can't call them equal. Bummer.

Mike, It might be the can vs bottle. I talked to a buddy that works at the Temple Bottler and he told me that the recipe is the same in both blends so I might have to send ya a couple of bottles to do a taste test. I know that Coke in a can tastes different than Coke in a bottle but the blend is the same.
