Fellas I need any bass info you have on Grand Lake O the Cherokee's.

Sorry, bassdude... I got carried away. Some say I should be locked away. Your question was a serious one, I know... I have heard good things about Lake O' The Cherokees, but have never fished there. I'll give this a bump to the top in hopes that someone will get by the comedy and give ya some good info.

Bassdude, a buddy of mine is a tournament fisherman. I recall him talking about fishing Grand Lake. Will look him up at work today.

Will let you know what he tells me tomorrow.

Now I've been there on a Spoonbill snagging trip. 5 of us from work, one pontoon boat, four 30 packs of beer, priceless!!!!!

I go out to the Mississippi river and watch nuts wade out chest deep to snag them things. Maybe in the lake they are edible but not from that river.

Not the ESPN circuit. He fishes one of the Kansas Tournament Associations. They fish all over the state. I know he was talking about fishing Grand Lake.

Have most everything you asked for. Need to know where your tournament starts from. Red 11, Shangrala?

Grand Lake is very nice. Try the Duck Creek arm of the lake. Also there are several other lakes close by if they aren't biting on Grand.
