I've heard of this complaint with several of Perdomo's cigars (and others as well), but had never seen it until now ...

I had, sitting at the bottom of my humidor, a couple of Dos Rios that had been there about a year or so, in fact, I forgot I even had them. When I lifted them out, where they sat, was a perfect 'red' stain in the shape of each cigar.

These are the ones they claim 'have a beautiful reddish wrapper'. I had no idea that it was painted on ...

Any ideas out there why the color would 'run' like that? They do look unnaturally 'red' to begin with ...

Slim a have some dos rios for a couple of months, and no discoloration, however I remove at least every 2 months my cigars from the cooler, check for bugs etc. and clean the bottom, this way the cigars get turned around, and also get some fresh air.Amen

This is disappointing! I really like these cigars, and I've got a couple of oldies still around, but none are on the bottom. Is this common? Is this common with Perdomo stuff?

Slim I have had some pretty tuff stains on a concrete driveway from ordinary autumn leaves. If the red doesnt come off on your hands or lips, might not be what you think. They have been layin down a long time on one spot.
