I have about 3 lbs of beads in each cooler with both filled to the top with boxes. I just have a bunch of sticks still in bags In between the boxes. I was just trying to avoid going to a third cooler. But alas it seems I will have to order some empty boxes from the mother ship and setup another cooler. I will check out the wal mart option as well. Thanks for the info.

As long as nobody minds. What I was thinking was to bring a cooler checked as luggage and we could do grilled salmon, halibut and Alaska side strip shrimp.

Already talked to a buddy that regularly puts out shrimp pots down in prince William sound. He is gonna hook me up with 10 pounds or so. Should feed a couple of people. Grilled just right with some home made cocktail sauce. Yummy for sure.

Awesome! I can't wait to come down and meet everybody. Going to be a good trip for sure. It will still be winter up here, so I am looking forward to some warm weather.

As it gets closer I will get with you about logistics. It may be easier to send the fish down early like this year, so it will be ready to cook.

If I might add something to the already wonderful suggestions, etc...

It has been my experience that a full humidor will regulate better than a partially filled one. I guess the cigars and boxes (if a coolerdor) help to regulate the humidity as well as beads, etc...

+1. We had a power outage and my humidifiers turned off. I forgot about it for days...because my humidor generally (minus 1% over a few days) maintained proper humidity the whole time.

Oh, I missed the full humidor part...mine is partially filled. 😇
