man, i gotta tell you guys, this sunrocket thing is pretty cool. it's a broadband telephone system. it rocks. if you already have DSL or cable internet, you can get phone service on those lines with free long distance and tons of phone services for less $25/mo or $200/yr. (under $17/mo). i just got mine hooked up a couple of days ago. i can all anywere in the US for free and the international rates are pretty darn low. i just had to tell everyone about this because i'm saving over $500/yr. with this. that's right, more cigars. if you're interested, check out sunrocket.com. it's amazing how cool this service really is. for instance, if you want to check your voicemail while you're in an area that's long distance, you can access your voicemail via their website. you can play it on the computer, and i've been told you can send it as an email to yourself or someone else. you gotta admit that's pretty cool. i'll end my commercial now. i just wanted to share something i thought was cool and could save some of you folks a decent amount of cash.

How does it compare to Vonnage?

it's the same concept, but it's potentially cheaper. i got the annual plan -- $200/yr. vonage now offers $25/mo, which is the same as sunrocket's monthly plan. as far as i can see, all services are the same. it's the exact same technology, as far as i know. sunrocket has had some pretty decent customer service so far, but i'm very new at this point.
