Gave up my daily cigar. Limiting myself to one each Sunday afternoon. What did you other sinners give up?

I sat idly by and watched two Japanese pom pom girls from the Japan Airlines Female basketball team make out with each other on my living room floor. I didn't even join in. I did video some of the good parts though, so does it still count?

^What he left out is that the girls were "founding members" of the team--in their late fifties.
Hey, but a sacrifice is a sacrifice... LOL

I bet Mo will miss his drinking buddy.

I gave up reading and posting on this forum. Guess that lasted as long as my New Year's resolution.

Gave up cigars too, and since every Sunday is a feast day, I will have a smoke just like yourself. The trick will be actually doing something good. Visit the sick, feed the hungry etc...

Repent, it's lent!

LLT, you have a lot of dedication.

Adroomi, that sounds like a sacrifice, I guess we will need more details to really be sure.

Much like Macs...I'm giving up self denial for lent.

On the same note, I had a friend in high school who thought, as a joke and to see if he could do it, he would try to give up t.v. for lent. Not only did he give it up....he never went back. He became a biochemist a few years ago....I am still in school.

I am giving up not making the time everyday to thank God for all the wonderful people in my life. So for lent I am going to get on my knees and pray everyday (even Sunday).
