During the boycott I fed my pet rabbit pizza, he died three days later but he had a big smile on his face.

Ceasar Chavez. There's a name from the past that keeps popping up. I didn't boycott lettuce, but I did boycott grapes and wine made from those grapes when he was doing his best, and on a hunger strike, for migrant workers.

He also gave a pretty rousing speech at my college. I remember one of my professors saying that he was a man who would go down in history for his deeds and he's proving to be right.

In 1970 I did not eat any kind of thing that was green! So I guess I would have boycotted the lettuce, but if I had known it was showing support for Caeser Chavez, damn I would have eaten lots of greens!

So what is the point anyway? Are you against boycotting French wine, french foods and french products in general? I have tried to avoid all things french, in fact have renamed french fries to American fries, so I can eat them. But I must say I broke down and bought a couple of Facannoble dress shirts on sale at Nordstrums a few weeks ago. Did I break the boycott, since the designer who owns Faconnoble is Albert Greenberg....I think not! I can dream anyway!

LMAO...

Reminds me of a joke:
A priest and a Rabbi are playing golf behind a horribly slow foursome. They are all over the course, hitting and losing balls and it took the two holy men 4 hours to play the front nine. So they went into the clubhouse to complain to the golf pro.
Priest..."That group in front of us was so slow we cannot continue our round, can't you do anything about them"?

Golf Pro: "The are blind and play every Thursday at the same time"

Priest: "Oh, I am so sorry to hear that, poor folks, we just will play at a different time"

Rabbi pipes in, "Can't they play at night"?

Threadjack off!
