For the first time I had a box from CI not show up despite saying it was delivered (this new UPS/USPS joint venture is not good). I called today and a replacement package is going out tomorrow via UPS without the USPS help. Very easy to deal with and they took care of the problem immediately. Thanks CI!

Very nice!

And yes, the UPS/USPS way sucks.

34 days for one delivery-not their fault if they did indeed send it when they said, one got cancelled after it didn't get out within 4 days of when it was scheduled to go out, and the last order was missing items that were checked off on the packing list and that I had been charged for.

I'm done ordering through them. Yes I did get credited back on my credit card for the missing items but it's just too much of a hassle!

This is not a big deal but I bid on 4 ruination and they got here today. The invoice said ruination as well but they were some other kind. Regular mow I think. Anyone have this happen? The cust service center was closed when I called so I'll try back tomorrow. Do I have to pay to ship them back? Anyone had them? Maybe I just keep em?

I've had issue's also but they are so quick to remedy the situations I have no problem placing more orders. Maybe they just need to hold a class for their warehouse guys to get them back on track. Gotta remember working a warehouse job isn't exactly the job of a lifetime and I'm guessing it's a high turn around job. Stuff happens, as long as they are willing to make good immediately I have no problems. They never argue or anything they just jump on the problem making good.

P.S. think this post will get me a free giant humidor?;-p Heh wondering if I could get one of the warehouse guys numbers and arrange an accidental table top humidor delivery;-p

I love my Indulgence tabletop humidors that I've bought from them. They are great humidors and they are also an attractive piece of furniture. I got one for $131 and the other one for $141. I think shipping is $40 on them though as they weigh like 55 lbs.

Don't blame Cbid for lousy shipping. You can call them and ask for all shipments to be done on the carrier YOU choose.

In my area, USPS is tops, so I have Cbid ship all my purchases USPS only. If i win an auction on a Thursday, I can expect the package to arrive on Saturday 90% of the time, and on Monday the other 10%.

In your area, choose whichever shipper is most dependable.

I wasn't blaming them for a shipper's delay or error.

They were supposed to send a big order to me on a Thursday and by Monday it still had not left their warehouse and it wasn't going to get out that day.

Depending on which MoW you won, there was a special edition batch that do not wear the Ruination band.

If it was their mistake, they will mail you a prepaid return label. Won't cost you a dime.

Last week I had a drag out fight with some other place's CS. CI/Cbid is a dream.

I get delivery via USPS from PA to OR in 2 days routinely. Never have had an issue.

UPS takes 1 week MINIMUM. Ask what brown can do to you.

I'll take USPS any day of the week.

UPDATE:

The original order I placed showed up 9 days after it said it was delivered on the tracking website. The next day my replacement box arrived. I did call CI and I am sending back the replacement shipment. They did give me the option to buy it, LOL.

The only problem I have with them is that they run it like a Mom and Pop business. 3-4 days to return emails sometimes, hard to get someone on the phone, forget trying to catch someone on Friday afternoon-you won't get a response until Monday afternoon at the earliest. Mispacked orders seem to happen pretty regularly with them as well.

It seems to me that they are a much larger business than that and should have more people to handle the phones and emails.
