I got 2 of new release of the El Rico Habano / Habano Club cigars from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo (La Gloria Cubbana)in the mail today. It's a nice little sampler of 2 in a little cedar coffin. Anyone else get these? They look dark and oily and have a strong spicey aroma. They look worthy of a try tonight, or soon anyway. Barry

pebbea, I'm not sure, I get so many newsletters. I got an email from them that I printed out and made a copy of my drivers liscense for proof of age and mailed it to them. 2 and1/2 weeks later they came in the mail with a nice letter from Enesto. Barry

I got them too. Darn good smoke, and the one, of the two, I smoked, knocked me on my butt. ENJOY!

The only La Gloria I have had the pleasure of trying was the Serie R #5 which I dearly loved. I smoked it in the car on the way to work taking the long way via Golden Gardens and still had some left. I let it go out and relit it a few hours later and smoked it till it burnt my fingers. Absolutely one of the best smokes I have had... so far.

got mine day before yesterday. you had to be one of the 1st 500 to respond to get 'em. i guess i was. they are pretty. i'm gonna wait a couple of weeks before i try one.
