Hey everyone! I've been a lurker on these forums for about 8 months now lol Been smoking for about a year now. Before then I had occasionally smoked cheap tobacco store smokes, so anything I buy on CB I consider premium, even if they;re not considered that by seasoned standards. Anyways, I was puffing on a Perdomo Lot 23 this morning and got distracted and accidentally inhaled fairly deep 🤦 , which I'm not used to, and immediately felt like I had a lump in my chest right where my sternum is. It lasted for about 10 minutes then subsided. Is this normal for someone not accustomed to inhaling?

Avoid inhaling.

At least it wasn't a Ghurka! He might not have survived!

I've inhaled by accident a few times and I usually just end up coughing it back up but I've never had the pain you describe.

Eh, maybe it was just a freak thing..

"Avoid inhaling" lol good advice!

Well, P. Lot 23's aren't as strong as some I've tried so I probably got off lucky!

Anyways, thanks for the quick replies.

It's cancer - you're doomed.

J/K! sounds like you needed to be burped LOL. I've actually experienced exactly the sensation you're describing when drinking carbonated soda... big achy air-bubble right in the middle of my chest that lasts 5-10 minutes before fading away. Maybe when you accidentally inhaled, the shock made you take a gasp or gulp of air?

Did you have anything to drink right after? I've had that feelling before like DaQueen but it faded fairly quick if I took a sip of something, or force a fairly crude belch out.

Dead on. Always better to be safe than sorry but I bet we would all be surprised by the number of people who went to the ER just to expel bad air!:-"
