have you seen the latest auctions that are ending on May 14th? There are some excellent ones, and I don't know if I can control myself here. Puros Indios Rothchild, Montague (but maduro here), Indian Tabac box press, and Perdomo 2. But I want to know quickly if anyone has tried this Dos Rios, and your opinion, as I am eyeing that one as well.

I haven't tried the robustos, but the Dos Rios Pyramids are an excellent cigar! Nice dark, oily wrappers. If you like Nick Perdomo's cigars, then the robustos should not be any different. Happy herfin'

I just received a 5 pack of the Dos Rios Pyramids. They are black and beautiful.silken wrapper, box pressed, perfect draw.... I am more impressed with them than I have been by any other cigars purchased here....And they ain't my first! I'm turning black and beautiful myself just thinking of them....don't outbid me...

hmm, sounds like a threat! Well there are two boxes, but the thing that will probably end up keeping me from bidding is that these are robusto size. I generally smoke a milder type robusto or corona after dinner, then late at night have the powerhouse cigars, like this one I suspect is full bodied, but I also smoke the churchill or doble corona size late at night, when I allot myself about 1.5 hours for my cigar, so why cut my precious time short with a robusto? I will wait, bide my time, and soon there will be a bigger size offered. If anything you have convinced me to buy a box.

The Dos Rios box press robusto ( box of 35 ) is excellent. I am on my 2nd box in two weeks and my cigar club absolutely loves them. The red wrapper is a refreshing change. A must try.
