I used to do that when I was young...love the smell of tobacco curing...hate working in tobacco though...more power to you!

somebody asking earlier, huff, I sort of mentioned this pic and that you might give a hint as to the trouble of getting the plants started, as a novelty, I grew a few plants, Connecticut Broadleaf and Kelley Burley. The plants/seedlings actually ship well in the mail

Have started my own from seed, don't have a greenhouse now, so here's where I got mine, too costly for a farm, but some cool old heirloom varieties

I ordered plants, was surprised how hardy they were, after 2 days in the very hot temps in the mail, you can see the pics, they have done ok even in this drought

yea, I figgered a co-op of sorts, closest tobacco growers to me are near the KY line close to Ft Campbell around Clarksville
