What is your juice or an after dinner drink with your cigar of choice?? I am heading out on a business trip and going to a very upscale Cigar Bar. I would like your expertise in chosing a Cognac or Apple Tini?? Your input greatly appreciated!!

Drink what you like, not what you think you're expected to.

Apple Tini?!?!

That sounds like real little teeney-tiney red gonads to me.

VSOP all the way.

Heavy on the apple, light on the tini.

I enjoy a nice double espresso or Guinness. If you're not into bourbon, a double or triple shot of Frangelico or Tia Maria goes very well with a nice cigar...both are incredible palate cleansers.

A 20 Year tawny port is always appropriate with a cigar after dinner. But, it depends on your personal taste.

Depending on the lateness of the hour, the meal, and my companions, I might select a snifter of Benedictine and Brandy or Grand Marnier cognac...but, more likely, a glass of Cruzan Single Estate or Ron Zacapa Centenario Rum served with a splash of boiling water, to open the nose.

The sweet aperatif liquors the other SteveR recommends, above, would be far too sweet for me. Frangelico and Tia Maria are frequently used as ice cream toppings in upscale restaurants.

Are you a girl?

If not, stay away from the Appletini.

You could go with an XO by say, Remy, or the louie, but if the boss is buyin' he/she may not like the expenditure.

Remy and Martel both make great VSOPs and you can find them just about anywhere. You can't go wrong with either of these.

Of course if you wanna' get really crazy you can go for the Louis the XIII. Bring your credit card and at least 3 forms of ID for that one, though.
