Don't be fooled by the 70/70 that you always hear. Not trying to bash anyone that keeps it there I just don't know how that became the standard? It makes a lot of my smokes taste really off. And causes burn problems

+1 When I first started smoking thought 70 was ok but a lot of times my smokes didnt taste that good. Now i keep it at 65 max. Also at 70 you run a good risk of mold if there is no air movement.

Camp it all really just depends on where you live... 63RH in Mojave CA wouldn't be ideal at all because it's one of the driest places in The US, so the cigar wouldn't smoke well, now if you live in Florida 60RH and even in the late 50s would smoke fine because of the high humidity levels they live in... but it's honestly impossible to know which RH would be best unless you know exactly where their humi is placed in their house if it has a glass top if not? what temps levels they keep their house at? so many factors come in to play it really comes down to just experimenting and figuring out what RH and what Temps work best for you where you live... IMO...

Ya, that's why I said "MY" ideal RH!

J/K

I'm with ya on that. where I live it's not unusual in the summer time to have 90-100% humidity.

98.3 will take the twang out of your smokes. Trust me.

98.2 is just foolish, you might as well be throwing them in the trash.
