Surgery for my wife day after Thanksgiving at 7:30a. Supposed to be a 2hr procedure - ends up being closer to 5. Been worried sick for weeks but driven out of my mind Friday. Saw the most scared/frightened look I've ever seen in my wife's eyes during recovery. I swear she didn't know who I was! Worse than having the kids. Able to come home Sat at 8p but with O2. Anesthesia kicked my wife's azz being under 2x longer than expected - still on O2.

Thank God she is OK. I would truly be lost without her. She is so brave. If I was in her shoes I'd rather be shot with the horses out to pasture. Came home late Saturday to find our kids put up and decorated our Christmas tree. Really hit us both hard as we've lost that privilege for more.

Finally able relax somewhat but with an irony of names - CroMagnon Knuckle Dragger and a bottle of Layer Cake Cabernet Sauvignon 2010. Hope it helps me sleep.

My apologies for my recent crankiness - Pro and Hill noted.
Lanc Prayers bro.
A bit early but Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
Peace to all.

Glad your wife is home and recovering! Ladies make the world go round and down and sometimes upside down but I digress! Love with all your heart and soul!
Now send me that wine!
