As much as it goes against who I want to be, I am afraid that is my only recourse. If you get punched in the nose enough you will punch back. As GB said it is becoming a trend to come in at the end. I understand its an auction and that is kinda part of the fun of it all, but I want to buy certain ceeeegars and I can't seem to get er done cause I get sniped. If you can't beat em, join em

Don't know if it has been done before, but maybe we should have a thread where a list of active forum users are noted, Initials and city as it shows in the winning bids.

Then if you want to do some sniping you can check the list if you feel compelled or the sniped can call you out.

Or not....

easier to just put the most you will pay on max bid, and do that until you get it
