Rich and i did a box split on some 601 La Bombas and I included some stowaways. SO, he returns fire with this little package that included a Ronson on steroids. I had no idea these could be made much more efficient!
So, being the Non-Tech nurd I am, Rich had to explain what he did to this thing!
Two quick and easy things to do is make trigger easier to pull and gain more flame adjustment.
For both these mods, take the small Phillips screw out of the bottom and pull the case off.
1. Remove the rubber o-ring and brass limiting ring from around the flame adjustment screw. This allows you much more control over the flame and as far as I was concerned, it needed it bad. A small sharp pick or drywall screw makes it easy to get under these to lift them out.
2. With a small screwdriver, remove the spring by lifting the spring up and out from the base under the trigger and pry it out of its little cubby hole. This will make the lighter much easier to light. It will still have more than enough spring action.
