Wow, they are probably not for everyone but the two I have had were terrific. Very unique flavor, buttered popcorn, very smooth smoke. Nice to find something different.

Asked a guy about them at the B&M. He said that his and 2 other people's Foundrys split like a Gurkha. (OK, he didn't SAY Gurkha, but I think he wanted to. :)

Buttered popcorn makes it sound pretty good though.

The fella at a B&M I went to told me that they save the cogs. When I asked why, he said the Rep told them that it would be used "to unlock something in the future." He couldn't give me more than that...cuz he didn't know any more than that.

I think it's just a marketing gimmick, but who knows.

It's surely a gimmick.

I read somewhere that there would be different "gears" released, and in the end you will be able to construct some mechanism.

ha, if you smoke like 5,000 of them, youll have enough gears to build yourself a robot!

I had the cayle which looks like a ball bat and the wells. The cayle was beat up pretty bad, the wrappers are very fragile but I nursed it along cause it was so good. So many cigars are starting to taste the same, diff. but the same if that makes any sense. This was totaly unique.

Maybe some type of limited edition box set that requires one of each type of gear to open the box (without mangling it)? Just spit ballin.

Have heard mixed reviews on these. The gimic of the gear and connecting each release is interesting though.

Like I said Carl I don't think everyone will like it, but I sure did. Its not an in your face powerhouse, just very smooth and flavorful
