I started smoking cigars a couple months ago. I bought a mild sampler I liked about half of them. Lately I've been smoking Ashton, Perdomo lot 23, Oliva connecticut reserve. With that being said could anyone recommend cigars I might like? Thanks.

The LFD's are excellent, and help with making the transition to the dark side(maduro's)

La Aurora that was recommended are nice smokes as well.

Welcome to the madness!![ram27bat]

I was just laughing at the LP 9 for a newer guy who likes mild to medium. I know my first LP was an eye opening experience, and I had been smoking padron maduro's before that.

By the way Padron x000 series would be a great recommendation here.

If you like mild, try:

EPC New Wave Connecticut

LA Aurora

Davidoff

LFD 2000

MOW Virtue (never had but seems to be well received)

Then diversify with some medium:

AF 858 (any)

AF Hemingway (any)

Tatuaje Nobles

Undercrown

AB Black Market

Cabaiguan Guapos Maduro

Mild to medium in flavor, but packs a bunch effect wise. Voice of wisdom of smoking one (!) MOW Virtue but it hit me just like the MOW and MOW Ruination, which was a learning experience for this n00b. Wrapper color/flavor and "the hit" are NOT RELATED!

Haven't had a bad MOW yet.

I too enjoy mild to med, heck I like alot of stuff. However based on what you tried and liked so far I would recomend:

Camacho Connecticut

J Fuego origin and natural

AB family blend

AB classic

EP Carrillo short run vintage

a few to try. bear in mind we all like diff. stuff. no one can make the right choice for you except you. trying new things is all part of fun.

I love MOW, however never liked the virtue and I have tried many.

If you have a few xtra bucks buy yourself a Padron Anny. natural. Just remember once you try one of these, nothing else will ever compare

Have fun and enjoy the ride

Glad to have you here akf. You are starting off with a good selection. I would echo the:

Alec Bradley American Classic (you can also go with the American Classic Sungrown if you want a little more richness)

NUB Connecticut by Oliva

and

Camacho Connecticut (white label)
