so in the last year I have purchased 4 humis, each increasing in size from the last. my first is a burner that i may use as scrap wood, my second is a 35 count, my third a whitetail 50 count (which I had for 2 weeks before gifting it to someone) which then led as a good excuse to justify my fourth and current 100 ct (about 65 ct in reality). Figuring this was good for a while, I came to realize in merely 3 weeks I wasn't. I quickly started looking for 300 ct ones, but figured I don't really have the space to give multiple med-large sized humis the display they deserve. So of course, I figure why not build a coolidor.

It's nothing fancy, but I like the vertical orientation with the shelf format (52 qt igloo). Figure I'd start with 3 trays for now (which I had to cut because they are too big; i can use the scrap as random cedar pieces), and the shelves are just closet wire I cut with bolt cutters (I highly recommend using a dremel tool to polish/soften the edges you cut..trust me). I estimate the max capacity is about 250 (each tray holds roughly 24 max and can stack 3 high, and room besides the tray for wrapped up 5ers or whatever. All said and done for the cooler, shelves, trays (which were the most expensive) , humi jars, hygrometer...roughly $80. I had to buy a bolt cutter and dremel tool as well, but I won't include those since it's good to have those anyways.

As if I didn't spend enough money when it was ONLY a 100 ct lol...but hey, I'm all but confirmed for CigarFest this year; I just hope I can restrain myself enough to not fill it completely before then!

Have the same cooler, with a similar set-up. Have cedar shelves and the door lined with large RP Edge crates (biggest cedar box I could find). Ran small wires through drain plug for two computer fans. Remove the doors strap - in time it will interfere with storage on top shelf. Put a rubber seal on the lid - over time it will help. HF beads and it works great for me. Used rubber bumpers from a couple old bar pool sticks for feet. Currently holds 8 boxes and a 40ct humi on the bottom.
