My mother was admitted into a hospital for testing on December 2nd and was released on January 5th. I received the bill today, it was $126,005.40, you would think they would have dropped the $5.40. LMAO

Your poor mom--I hope that she gets better soon or at least, as well as can be expected.

I imagine it must be quite an ordeal for you and your brother.

Hang in there, JonR.

That reminds me of the year my wife and I got our state tax returns back....twelve cents. I imagine it cost more for the paper it was printed on.

I hope she is doing OK and bad tests were negative and the good tests were positive.

When my sister was in the ICU for 31 days, her bill came to $175,000 (I stopped looking after a while)

Luckily, her insurance picked up everything but $1250.

I hope your mom is doing better. Hospitals are not a good place to be. I can't imagine being in that long.

David was in the hospital last year for a week. It was over $96,000. Luckily the insurance paid all but $1,000 and his company paid half of that. I think it is insane how much they charge. An you are right---they always have those few extra cents they tack on.

That's insane. I hope your mom is well now JonR.

That's more than a lot of people make in 2 years...
