I'm amazed to find so many PhD's on a cigar forum who know better than the people who spend their life studying and treating sick people.

I try hard to listen and believe everything the government says too. They are the last bastion of America free of corruption. The pharma lobby is one of the biggest payers for access in Washington.

You expect the govt and the CDC to kill the financial golden goose by announcing the shots are full of garbage,and the true long term effects of prolonged use are not known?

I haven't been to a doctor in over 15 years, in that time I've been sick maybe three times, but just head colds... nothing I couldn't shake in 1-2 days.

When I started my new job I was required to get a "fit for work" physical (as are all new employees). They tested everything from my eyes to my hearing to range of motion of my arms and legs, and even some stupid breathing test to see what my lung capacity was (about 130%). When they wanted to draw blood I told them to screw off. They didn't like me refusing the blood work... tough ****, I know I'm not sick, nor do I care what my cholesterol levels are... nor do I think it's any concern of my employer to know. Considering the crap I work with, what's in my blood is the least of my worries. One false move on my part would make national news (literally), and I'd not be around to worry about it.

When I hear people talking about constantly going to a doctor every time they have a cough or sniffle in their nose it just makes me laugh. That skit about germs by George Carlin comes to mind.
