Is it just me and my OCD, or have rolling techniques dropped somewhat?

I am finding that I have to ream at least half of the cigars I smoke now to get the wide open draw I favor to get the volume of smoke needed to enjoy the cigar's full flavors. I don't like to suck very hard to pull a lot of smoke, and find myself pushing my reaming tool into a lot of cigars. Even the ones made by Fuente, DPG, Tat, LGC and LA that are reputed to be well constructed seem to open up and taste better after a few pokes.

What's wrong with a poke every day or so? I always enjoy a good poke.

I have a friend that has had this problem in the past. He then said his humi was a little high around 72-75. I suggested keeping it around 62 and no higher than 68. He now says he does not have that problem as much with his cigars. I am not sure if this is a problem w them being harder to draw but I do not have that problem often. Maybe they just ship the better olled ones to Ohio and KY? LMAO

Hope you get some better drawing cigars soon. Hard draw sux and doesn't make smoking pleasurable.

I've been smoking alot more coronas, lanceros, and petite lanceros. Think there's less room for error in play, when the cigars a smaller ring gauge.

It is scary trying to draw poke a lancero too, not a whole lot of forgiveness trying to get through them.

I haven't had this problem either, actually I've noticed many smokes being UNDER filled and loose drawing.

Maybe you're over humidified.

My suggestion is you need more cardiovascular exercise. As we age we lose lung capacity. Your probably just getting old. Go for a 5 mile run every day. Your cigars will draw fine. [whip]
