It took an incredible amount of restraint or me.

LOL- Victor can have that effect on folks, Abrignac. He's a good guy though.

All one has to do is google the names of the ever- changing principals to see how the CDC, FDA, and PHARMA brass all play an ethically- challenged, incestuous musical chairs with each other. Then they plead unbiased innocence. It's disgusting

Victor,

It has nothing to do with statistics for me. I just simply don't want/need a flu shot based on my prior good health. My last job was crappy (literally... I worked in a lab where we handled waste water from the city's sewage treatment plant) and people in our group would always get sick, but I never got sick other than a runny nose in winter... no fever, cough, aches, etc.

And on top of that, that job was at a university where I rode mass transit and was exposed to hundreds/thousands of snot-nosed, germ infested, dirty, stinky college kids each day (there were 40,000+ students there but how many would I see in a day, probably a couple hundred). So if I didn't get sick from that, the flu is the least of my worries so I see no reason to inject God knows what into my body.

I agree with Bloody: any study is (or likely is) skewed to prove a point. Didn't the government tell the people that DDT was safe at one time (1940s-ish)? I'm sure there were countless "studies" showing no ill effects of exposure to DDT, and yet now we know it's bad juju.
