Camacho and all it's lines including Room 101 is owned by Davidoff now (http://camachocigars.com/press/oettinger-davidoff-group-acquires-camacho-cigars/), they just haven't messed around much with a good thing. Christian is doing his own thing with CLE, Windwood and Asylum - all of which are EXCELLENT imho (http://www.cigaraficionado.com/webfeatures/show/id/16537).

Hey, no hate here for Baccarat, I love em. Especially if you let them rest a few months, the sweetness mellows out and turns into creamy wonderfulness, lol. Baccarat and La Fontana are amazing smokes for the money.

Did Matt Booth sell his stake in Room101 to Davidoff?

Room101 cigars was a joint venture between Matt Booth and Camacho. Unless Matt Booth, the holder of the Room101 line of jewelry, accessories, the cigar line and whatever other crap he makes sold his stake in the cigars to Camacho/Davidoff, which could have happened, but I haven't really checked recently, then it's not actually owned by them. In addition to rolling the cigars, it is possible that they do have a percentage stake of the venture, but I think he's the primary. In fact, it's not even mentioned on list of brands owned by Camacho at the link you posted from Camacho's website. Also, if you look up the ownership of Room101 cigars at the trademark office, you'll find that Oettinger Davidoff is not listed anywhere, unlike the Camacho brands, Zino, Davidoff cigar brands etc...

As for Christian leaving, you're right, I forgot about that.

Anyway, thanks for the info on what Christian is up to now although this all wasn't meant to be about who owns them - but rather what factory they came out of and who created them. PS, AVO, Davidoff are all Tabadom & Kelner, the others mentioned were Camacho, and the profiles are most certainly different because of it.

Can't really add much except to say that Davidoff cigars age very very well.

Agree with the comment on the Double R but like most high dollar cigars they are worthy of special times like the one mentioned above. Congrats!
