I don't have a problem with threads about trade issues. I have a problem with threads that get out of hand, people threatening others, verbal attacks, etc.

As I said, we need to be civil. You guys were doing a great job with it and then all heck broke loose. Its the useless dogpiling that becomes the problem. That's when personal attacks begin. Police that stuff amongst yourselves as well and all will be fine.

And I know that moderators on other forums shut down some of those threads too - when the personal attacks start, the thread meanders without going anywhere, gets off topic, etc. The thread is there for all to see as a warning. I didn't delete it. I just shut it down so there wouldn't be more attacks that serve no purpose.

If I can make a suggestion. Why not decide amongst yourselves a thread title of sorts so that everyone knows it will be about 'bad traders.' (how about "Bad Trader Alert: Name of trader")When you decide that someone needs to be called out, use that title. But here's what you need to police. Limit the comments on these threads to be about positive and negative trades. No name calling, no veiled threats. Don't use that title unless its REALLY about a bad trader and not some skirt-blowing about someone who is the exact opposite

Decide amongst yourselves who will be the mediator or mediators and bring inappropriate posts within those threads to my attention. Seven pages of mostly BS doesn't serve anyone. Remember, I read the whole damn thing and I couldn't figure it out until page 5!

Keep me in the loop if you decide to action my suggestion. I'll be happy to discuss with anyone what my thoughts would be. Just do me a favor and wait until Monday. CigarFest tickets go on sale on Saturday so I'm up to my elbows in alligators right now.
