Another wise man said, "Sometimes a Gurkha isn't a Gurkha."

Gurkhas are rarely Gurkhas...which, in essence, is what makes them Gurkhas..

Ah, you are indeed a wise man, too.
So, not being what you are makes you what you are even though that is not what you are but that not being that defines you? 🤦
Yes.. This is a mathematical expression.
"Most of the time, a La Perla is not a La Perla, and a Noventa is not a Noventa."

Sent one of the originals to timfusco as part of a blind taste test (cigar number 2). It didn't fare well. Imagine if I had sent the current iteration......
there is a guy here that cheesewurst and I smoke with that loves gurkhas. I once gave him a $14 stick and he put it out, but he will smoke the crap out of some $3 fake gurkhas...until they canoe or the wrapper explodes, anyway.

Until they explode? I think he's just waiting for that moment so he can properly enjoy his smoke. Gurkhas ARE consistent. They consistently explode.

I resemble that!
I have smoked many Gurkhas in the first 2 months that I smoked cigars and only had one actually explode. And I enjoyed the ones that I've smoked (except maybe 2). Just smoked a Park Avenue today and it was good.
More power to me!

^^^ Ditto. Mine were purchased a few years ago, but I've never had one explode and I've always enjoyed Doble Maduro, Symphony, Legend and the dearly departed OR Genghis Khan and purple Ancient Warrior.
