So Nick and I were thinking that it might be fun to have some sort of competition between our CBid brethren. So, here it is.

In this image are quite a few cigars we have smoked (and some that other people have smoked). The goal is to name EVERY cigar band in the picture. If someone does manage to name EVERY cigar band in the picture, he/she will get a very nice gift from Nick and me. However, if nobody names EVERY cigar band in the picture (which I assume will be the case, as there are some obscure ones up there), then we will go off of a point system.

.5 point for naming the correct brand (i.e. - Man o' War)

1 point for naming the correct brand and line (i.e. - Man o' War Virtue)


Whoever has the most points by, say....monday night (the 18th) at midnight, Kabul time zone, will be declared the winner.


I encourage everyone to participate, as our gift will be more than just a measly 5er of cigars. We've got some things planned that we hope the winner will really enjoy.

Some Arturo Fuente, a God of Fire, a couple Acid....other than that, I'm not sure this is worth going cross-eyed over.

All I can really make out is the MUWAT, a couple of Acids, and the OSA Brazil.

These old eyes will never see the rest of those. Maybe do a closer shot of fewer bands. Its a cool idea, just too tough to see.

I wanted it to be difficult. If it was close-up, it would be too easy for some of the FOG's to get it within just a few minutes and the game would be over.

My idea, initially, was to go from top left to bottom right. If you can't make out one....guess, or leave a placeholder (XXXXX, or w/e).

So let's say that the board was 6 bands long. that would have scored 2.5 points. 1 for the Tat, .5 for each of the other 3. Give it your best shot, folks. The prize is definitely going to be worth your while, although I probably can't pay for a new Rx of glasses when you ruin your eyes beyond your current Rx.
