Excellent, I'm glad you picked up a bottle; it's one of my favorites. My wife and I finished off the last little bit of our Appleton Extra last night. That's it for my Appleton Extra until I travel back to the States this summer. Appleton rums aren't sold in Puerto Rico.

You'll really notice how different the Extra is if you get a chance to compare it to a lighter bodied Puerto Rican or Cuban style rum.

I didn't see the Extra at this particular liquor store. Will have to check others.

Buchannan? I don't have access to the store there but have been given access to shop at the Coast Guard PX with my work ID. The Coast Guard has the Flor De Cana rums from Niciragua that I haven't seen anywhere else in PR. I'd be interested to know what rums Buchannan stocks.
