Once this guy turned 18 (legal age to buy tobaccy) he was posting pics of his cigars on Instagram. I must say, I don't know that he has much, but he had some pretty good smokes (i.e. Tatuaje, etc)...it almost made me jealous (and proud, not in a condoning way) that a young guy getting into the cigar hobby is buying real premium smokes. Good on him (I guess).

To my eyes the gold embossing doesn't look right but what makes me think FAKE is the wrapper.

X pretty much sum'd it up in 22. Embossing doesn't look raised and the construction is super sketchy. Seen some fugly Cubans though, but these are horrid.

If these are known fakes...no chance in hell I'd recommend smoking one to see if i got my $ worth (that answer is 100% no if theyre fake btw..no matter what your palate says). You have no idea what kinda junk could be mixed in with that tobacco. That's just me though.

IIRC, he mentioned they were $50 (each). Real or fake, I ain't spending $50 on one of these even if they tasted like bacon wrapped filet mignon w/ bleu cheese crumbles and lobster with melted butter. 🤐 ....dang, now I'm hungry and it's not even noon yet.

Hey guys, I was doing some research on real vs fake Cubans, and came across this forum. I have been buying Cubans for a while now online. I have posted my issue on 2 other cigar forums and all those guys tell me is to trust my source and I will be ok, but I have to agree with KPP, how can I trust my source if I don't really know them, plus if they smoke good then I'm supposed to be ok that they are GOOD fakes? I'd rather pay more and know they are REAL.

I know this thread goes back a few years, but I wanted to post my pics on here to get your opinion if they look fake or real. A little info on them, the serials are all scratched off so I know they are gray market, however the seal does not fold over where it should be, how big of an issue is that? All my readings about Cubans is that they check their work and make sure everything is perfect before they sell them.

Any info or help would be appreciated.
