Anyone have first-hand experience with how these are aged? Particularly a 2-year old T52.

Haven't had one single liga that has aged well. Besides the Dirty rat. #9's lose everything, T52 Become blend, & FFP are ok.

Damn, did not want to hear this...I have a T52 with so much age that the band has distinct yellowing when compared next to a new T52.

I have found that the T52 doesn't develop into a better smoke with a lot of age, I really enjoy them with just a couple weeks/months rest on them. Just enough time for them to reach my desired humidity. They seem to mellow a bit more after a long nap and do not keep that great flavor. Still an excellent smoke none the less.

I have to say that the #9 ages better IMO, as well as the Rat, and especially the L40.

I think some of it depends on the humidity as well in which you store your sticks. I have found that out over the years of learning at which % I can get the best out of my sticks.

Everyone's taste is going to differ and change with some time too, so notes you pick up in the T52 OTT may certainly not be there in a year or two.

Send your unwanted age T52s to me for proper testing!! :-" :-"

I have found out that none of the LP age well, except the Dirty Rat and FFP, they get smoother, but they all lose that kick!

I was worried I was letting a good cigar go bad and decided I'd light up that t52... smoking it right now and although I've never smoked one and hence have no comparison, I'm pleased....

I don't enjoy strong cigars too much anymore and although this one came out of the gates with some strength to it, I'm coming to the end of the first third and it's mellowing out nicely... quite enjoyable thus far...

this thread really made me want to pick up a few more. My B&M has them in all the time but they are so damn expensive in California. $17 OTD for a toro size, $20 for Double Corona. For that same $20 I decided to pick up a MUWAT +11 and a Cojonu 09.

I'm down in central california but our prices are the same... that's why I rarely smoke a nice cigar unless I get it online...

this t-52 is really good though, and probably worth scooping up one more, even if it is at CA prices...

I've only purchased Liga's online once. I got a sampler with L40, UF13, Papas Fritas and T52...couldn't pass it up. Next time I am in Tahoe I'm going to look for a good shop and compare prices.

One of the best LPs I ever had was a LP9 Beli with 2Y worth of age on it (TY TJ!). YMMV.
