This is the new corojo wrapped version, not the Emerald or Espresso. I just burned one of these in the corona vitola. Been in the humi a couple months or so.

-Loose pack/draw but the ash holds on extremely well

-Many reviews on-line mention a "brown paper bag" taste. I did not get that. It wasn't complex, but it wasn't bad for what I paid. I think I got a 5er for around a buck a stick. A little spice, a little sweetness. Take it slow or you'll get a little too much cocoa (bitterness) in the last third.

-Burned well the first half, the last half would get a funky burn line, then would self-correct. I never had to touch-up.

-If you spot a pack going low, don't hesitate to throw in a bid. You could do worse for a yard gar, beer stick, or for your mooching "aficionados".

these were made by Padilla. They are a good, dark brown smoke. While I would never pay the $3+ C.I. price, You can pinch them here for just over a buck, which is a great buy if you smoke a lot and want a decent stick in between your better premiums.

Interesting -- I didn't know Padilla made them. Thanks for sharing.
