A doctor at the hospital where I work, a long time friend of mine, stopped by the Lab tonight to pay me a visit.
He hands me the cigars and says,
"I bought these in 2008 and just opened the sealed box tonight. I believe they were rolled in 2004. I thought you might like to try them."

As far as a review . . .
I don't retro-hale, so don't expect to hear things like, "it had notes of cashews, or hints of caramel,or things like that. Maybe I'll save one of them for dpnewell and HE can give a more "detailed" review.
All I cab say is it was REAL good.
Smooth and mellow. No harshness or spice. Just good old tobacco flavor.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
