Danny, didn't get an answer from Nick on FB.

Are these going to be available in sub-50 ring gauge (i.e. Corona Gorda, Corona or traditional Churchill)?

Is that wrapper color Taps approved?

Nick said it was the best wrapper they've had in years, I'm really interested in this one. Rhough honestly I wish it was stand alone not "Champagne" blend. The Noir though good was a let down to me.

My only real Perdomo gripe is the lack of 44-50 RG in some blends recently released. Nick said he would prefer to as it is more cost effective but left it at that. My personal opinion is that givin an outstanding blend, smaller RG sticks sell VERY well.

Danny, they look great. Hope they are resting peacefully, waiting for their big day.

I don't get it, wouldn't smaller ring gauge (which we all want) mean more tobacco to roll more cigars? They'd have more cigars to sell and make more money. Is there some nuance of the manufacturing process that I'm missing which makes the larger ring gauge more desirable?

^ Stephen, that is EXACTLY what Nick said to me and also he said he wished they made more smaller RG for that reason. I do know that sometimes manufacturers say larger ones sell better and sometimes the "blend" doesn't taste the same in a smaller vitola.

On FB Nick told me he was excited because of how great this wrapper is. But I won't be excited to buy if a Corona Gorda or Corona are available.

Good morning gents.

We will have a 5/58x46 corona extra and a 6x50 tubo in the new Perdomo Champagne Sungrown. My friends we work for you the customer. So many people smoke big ring gauges its not funny. There are some that are making 70 to 80 ring gauges now!!

I wish you all a great weekend!

Wow thanks for replying! I always thought the smaller ring gauges were more popular guess I was wrong. I'll be grabbing a box of those Corona extra's though. Hey Nick when do you plan to be in Philadelphia again?

Btw I'll trade you a Ronson Jetlite that I will personally autograph for a box of those Corona's to test;-p

I think the smaller ring gauges get a lot more attention from educated smokers... but educated smokers - I think - often look to get their cigars for as cheap as possible and so probably don't generate as much profit for a company as would the inexperienced or uneducated smokers that just looks for the biggest cigar they can get their hands on no matter the price...

I remember talking to a guy who swore the muwat was his favorite cigar... but he could only finish half and couldn't explain any of the flavors he picked up in it...

that being said, I'll definitely be looking to scoop up some of these sungrowns in the corona extra size... thanks for keeping us informed Nick... much appreciated...
