Against my better judgement but I'm still a bit giddy.

My wife will kill me if she knew this was here (but hey, you allowed the picture) and I look like a strung out addict.

Ooop here she comes... gotta go370224.jpg

this reminds me of another thread on the misc. board where someone talks about being affected by posts on the forum. if this doesn't affect you, you have no heart. this is on of the greatest moments in life. the fact that you care enough to share it with this group speaks volumes for how much you think of this place and its participants. thanks for sharing this special moment with us. congrats and enjoy. i don't know if this is your first or not, but if it is, you're in for a real treat. the magic has only begun.

I've posted this quote before but I love the feelings that it express.

John

"High overhead the stars are burning brightly.  A waxing moon is rising in the East.  And abruptly the man stops.  Carefully he removes the brightly colored cloth that has been wrapped around the baby boy, and with one hand supporting the infant’s head and another beneath his back, he lifts the child skyward, to gaze at the constellations and contemplate the vast reaches of space where the planets slowly spin.  And then to his son, he utters the words of his tribe and tradition, the words that he learned from his own father: “Behold the only thing greater than yourself!”
