I have two humidors sitting in the same area about two feet apart. Both have been seasoned and both have digital hygrometers that have been calibrated using the salt test. One reads perfect, but the other consistently reads high. I removed both hygrometers and re-calibrated them and still get the same results. Any suggestions on how I can lower and control the humidity level for the humidor that is reading high?

NJ Navy Chief offers great advice. Buy 65% beads and forget about it. There will always be fluctuations and adjustments. Don't over think it. They are just cigars.

+1 the above suggestions. Beads are your friends. You could also send your cigars to me. My basement has been running a pretty steady 60-65% RH and 65 F for the past couple of weeks. That is were my humidors are so they don't have to work very hard. Remember that a full humidor is a happy humidor.
