I have a jar humidor that my wife bought, she trys. Anyway, i need someone's advice as far as how to take care of it and are there any certain specioal secrets. I am going to use it for travel and so forth. It has the humidifier and cedar bottom

Hi, I have one and I really like it. No special secrets. Fill the humidifier with distilled water and check the humidity regularly. The humidfier has a rotation device on the front in case the humidity is too high. If that's the case, just rotate it a little so not so many holes are open. It's great for those cigars that aren't wrapped in cello also.....enjoy....Brent

I would suggest using the PG 50/50 mixture in the humidifier in these smaller humidors. Most of these have a great airtight seal and if you don't get it open often enough you can get cigars pretty wet. I have a couple but tend to pull cigars out and let them sit for a day or so before lighting them so they are not too moist.
